The only graduation I've attended [of my own] was my 8th Grade graduation . . . as this photo depicts me in a dress with the neck pulled down into an off-the-shoulder style, there's no reference to how pissed off my mother was at the time. That was the up and coming style, what can I say? I was in Intensive Care during my High School graduation, I blew off both my AA and BA graduations, I technically don't have an MA until I finish two Incompletes and write a thesis and now I'll contemplate attending the PhD graduation in a few years . . .
My friend Jeff, a fellow quad, this is his BA graduation
party . . . Jeff and I took a few classes together at Schenectady County
Community College . . . we were sitting next to each other in our American
History class: I used to carry around a water jug that had a flip
top with a straw poking out of the top . . . I reached forward to grab
it and the top flew off, spilling water all over the desk. Professor
Hughes stopped class and asked if I was okay and a fellow classmate slipped
out to grab paper towels . . . Jeff laughed hysterically for most of the
class with me calmly wanting to punch him in the head . . .
